In addition to the continuous investigation of UFO sightings and close encounters, IGAAP conducts the following research projects:

• Collection of data and development of a theory regarding the observed physical interactions between UFOs and the environment (EMG Project)
  

• Creation of a catalog of UFO sightings in northwestern Germany since 776 AD as well as the creation of an additional interactive map

• Collection of data and creation of a database for the statistical evaluation of sightings of triangular UFOs ('Triangles') over Germany in cooperation with UFO researchers from Belgium
